Cut Me: An Open Wound

Cut Me: An Open Wound (April 2012) Hello Studio, San Antonio, TX.
This performance asked audience members to read statements about subjects that society would otherwise consider “outsiders” then cut off a piece of clothing. Subjects ranged from prominent civil rights leaders who were assassinated to criminals such as the Boston bomber. These subjects were ‘cut out’ of society by others and the performance demonstrates the vulnerable state of society when faced with radical ideas of freedom and fear.
